Nestled beside the iconic "Pleasure Bridge" at Qiantan Taikoo Li, Blue Bottle Coffee Qiantan stands as another architectural masterpiece in Shanghai. Designed by renowned Japanese architect Jo Nagasaka, the store seamlessly extends its interior outward, creating a semi-open glass "garden within a garden." The centerpiece is undoubtedly the terracotta spiral staircase​ that flows through the space. Natural light filters through the glass façade and lattice screens, casting dappled shadows on the warm clay steps, evoking a sense of serene detachment from the urban bustle. It is more than just a place to savor a meticulously hand-brewed cup; it is an architectural landmark where one can sync with the rhythm of Qiantan’s urban green lung.
