Located next to the iconic 'Yue Mu Bridge' in Shanghai's Pudong Li TaiKoo Hui, Blue Bottle Coffee is hailed as another masterpiece of aesthetics for the brand in Shanghai. The store was designed by renowned Japanese architect Jo Nagasaka, ingeniously extending the indoor space outward to create a semi-open glass 'garden within a garden.' The most striking feature inside is the terracotta spiral staircase that runs through the space. Natural light filters through the glass facade and grilles, casting dappled shadows on the warm terracotta steps, creating a sense of tranquility suspended above the city. This place isn't just for savoring a pure hand-brewed coffee; it's also an architectural landmark to experience the breathing sensation of Pudong's green lung.
